New business ideas for students or even for people with good communication skills: loft tours.
Today in Budapest several tours are organized, where in a 2-3 hour walk the beautiful aspects of a district are shown. For example, old buildings, enclosed garden,abandoned but beautiful areas, which are not necessarily as a tourist attraction for the largepublic (tourists) known.
Similar walks and tours could be organized in the Csepel Művek or in the DreherBrewery.
Not only foreigners would be open for such a thing but also the young people of Hungary. Who would own venture into the abandoned former communist factories for a walk? Together with a guide, with a group if interesting tales and storiesare are told, I really would like …

Office with industrial-style
Walking through the office of the german WKK GmbH a pleasant surprise and astonishment reached us.
The former bakery converted into an office is filled with miracles. A restored American caravan from 1936 occupied one side, separated subsequently covered brickwalls, original iron structure.
The cafe section we found a former drum as decoration, the owner’s desk a 20 cm thick solid wood comes from Bali.
Entering the bathroom is like a church devotion: a huge space with crushed white stones, wood planks lead to the design sanitery ware.
Renovation of a loft-like gallery
A swedish couple realized their dream to create an art gallery.
In the Gallery Linnman opened in September 2011 interior accessories and furniture can be purchased.
Besides these its goal is to become a center for the Swedish and international arts.
For this an old factory built in 1901 was obtained and the couple began with the renovation. You may read about the renovation-steps on their blog.

This loft is home to a graphic artist couple.
This Loft mixes the vintage style of the 50-60s and the architectural elements of a loft, such as those high beamed ceilings, wooden floors with exposed brick walls.
The furniture comes from internet auctions and from Ikea, the decoration from artist-friends of the couple.
Mainly because both are traveling by bicycle, it was clear from the first moment that the bicycles should be mounted hung on the wooden beams.
The living room is full of classic design pieces, Eames and Marcel Breuer chairs, chest of drawers from Ikea, but also a retro-world map which is the new trend.
The gray-brown furniture and the pink dining table come together well with the walldecorations.
The Ikea kitchen is adorned by the globus-collection of the couple.

Ideas for loft-fans (1)
After repeated inquiries, we have decided to publish some ideas and tips that could possibly arouse interest in the topic Lofts in Hungary.
More and more people and companies show interest in lofts, industrial buildings, extreme places and objects.
One of the most obvious sign is that we get this issue in a number of e-mails, phone calls.
Under the menu interesting, we will report regularly on interesting buildings to be sold. However, this is not the sort of business goal.
Unfortunately, there is currently no real estate agent who would specialize in this area.
In the ”rust zone” of Budapest, there are a large number of still preserved in pristine condition, beautiful buildings that one would have to track down easily.
The demand is not only on expensive and renovated industrial buildings, but also cheap, abandoned buildings where one could set up authentic [...]

Burnt paper factory
A burnt-out, abandoned paper mill in Budafok (Budapest). Founded at the end of 1800 and during operation of this factory it was one of the largest paper mills in Hungary.

Power-kitchen, how to make a stylish kitchen furniture in a loft?
