Industrial style pub

Atelier Mecanic. A pub in Bucharest, which was designed in its old original style, as an old workshop was in this place.

Small service shops are located nearby and because of the successful transformation many workers were looking here for jobs.

The design is connected with the name of Corvin Cristian, who has furnished this space, exploring the original industrial furniture and the accessories of the 1950-‘70’s.

His exploration has been hampered by the fact that the Romanians have completely erased the past, and the industrial relics were transported to landfills.

The divided iron windows, the external explosion proof lights and the name made of the old tools all drop a hint of the spirit right from the entrance.

The furnishing is very elegant: original workshop chairs, old table lamps on the wall, old machines’ stands serving as table legs. Original industrial vacuum on the ceiling, OHS posters on the walls. The top of the bar table was designed of hewn beams while the footrest of iron water pipes.

When you open such a place in our small country? Or maybe only I did not know about it?
