Any seriousness lacking beach house

On a solitary coast of Australia stands the house of Donna and Chris Allen, which was built in the 50s. At the beginning their plan was to build an energy efficient eco home in the place of an old house, but the economical considerations proved to be stronger.
After the cost-saving renewal they created a playful and soothing beach style home with industrial and vintage accessories. When they moved, the house was full with orange and avocado-green wallpaper and with wood paneling. Donna chose bold contrasts and vibrant colors. There is nothing serious here – says the owner about the house, laughing. Bright red and blue furniture offset the restraint of the wood paneling and the white wooden floor. The walls are decorated with the family’s travel photos and they adore the antique, the rattletraps and old tarnished furniture bought on flea market.
In Donna’s study appears also the industrial style, with hard and character fixtures. Yet the main ornament is the view to Sydney’s imposing bay. The kitchen is clear, the navy blue and white colors dominate. Its open and spacious arrangement makes it suitable equally for cooking and eating. The house is part of the nature, Allen’s constant guests are the opossums, parrots and cockatoos, their roommates are the dogs José and Nacho.
