Italian comfort in an old castle

A watch tower attached this idyllic, Italian castle to the former town hall. The frescoes are still preserved today, but the path is bordered by handmade ceramics and copper bowls.

The entrance is decorated with a vintage, carefully carved wooden dressing table, which is perfect for storing keys.

The dining room used to be a little girl’s room, the original 18th century fresco is still visible on the ceiling. The baroque chandelier is also the old times’ remnant. The space is separated from the kitchen by furniture that functions as a kitchen counter as well and was transformed from an antique table. Thanks to changes, the traces of everyday kitchen operations cannot be seen on the tabletop. In glass door display cabinet and wooden shelves are resting the tools used for cooking.

The kitchen’s white shelves are filled with funny/cheerful ceramics. In addition to the copper teapot, pans and salt cellar we can enjoy the Polish pottery pots.

The huge copper cooking pot that can be seen on the ground was standing in the home already at the time of its purchase. It is also interesting the demijohn placed on the shelf beside the kitchen, which is actually an aquarium. Here, in the coffee corner as well, it is possible to sit down on a classical, graceful lined and gentle upholstered couch. The coffee table is also richly decorated.

On the other side of the carpet a local attraction adorns, on such benches is prepared the pasta in the Veneto region.

The dining room’s simple, dark table is counterbalanced by the meticulously decorated chairs. The Empire-styled chest of drawers and the gold-framed, graceful mirror harmonize with the Rococo atmosphere.

From a romantic stone terrace opens the view to the romantic garden.

The work corner is tiny and puritanic. In contrast with the pieces of the central piece here, there is clear-out wooden furniture bordered by straight lines.

It is simple the bedroom as well. There are bright spaces, red marble patterned slabs, respectively light brown cabinets.

The interior suggests a unique atmosphere and antique vibration.
