Swedish villa with industrial elements

We present a Swedish house now, in which are bravely mixed the industrial, folk and even ikea furniture, accessories. To this gives an excellent background the uniformly white-painted floor and walls.

The living room’s couch consists of construction timbers which are put on rollers and of lots of colorful cushions. The pull-out workshop lamps and the grandparents’ portraits provide an interesting medley.

In the corner of the living room received place the working part, with metal locker and the old window frame serves for the placing of the records, pictures.

The kitchen furniture is a simple ikea cabinet, which is being made complete by the old butcher’s capital desk, blackboard painted black walls and the rural atmosphere emitting open shelves.

The white dining table is an older ikea model, giving a neutral background to the industrial workshop chairs and the ceiling lamps. The cosiness is being enhanced by the big wooden bench and by the bright plates on the wall around.

On the several places pop-up windows are functioning in some places as a cabinet door, in some places as a tray holder, sometimes as built in the bathroom’s wall, they were saved from the former house of the grandmother.

In the hall, metal seats and old mirrors welcome the visitors.

In the parental bedroom a stout branch serves for the clothes placement, the headboard once was the backrest of one of the old sofas of the grandmother
