Éva Németh graduated from the Hungarian Academy of Industrial Arts and has been designing carpets and tapestries from hemp and cotton scraps for the household cooperative Békéscsaba Szőnyegszövő since 1966.

With her Scandinavian-style carpets and tapestries – with fine drawings or geometric patterns – she represents a completely different world in the Hungarian textile art of the 70s and 80s.

The tapestry shows stylized plants, trees and a horse. The natural colors make it an eye-catcher.
