Eclectic styled office with retro features
This week we present the We are Huntley’s interior decorating business studio. In the former red-brick warehouse the modern and minimalist furnishing is completed with cheerful colors.
The open-plan office is framed with wood floor, dark wooden beams and white-painted brick walls. The factory atmosphere is strengthened also by the visible aluminum tubes and metal-framed windows. The workplace traditional base pieces cannot be missing from here as well, this way the white tables and gray chairs occupy a large part of the studio. The real creativity lies in the accessories and in the design/shaping of rest areas. Beside the simple office furniture the designers tried to place an accented piece. This way one of the massive accessories is the worn wood niche that functions as space divider, which original, inscribed door was also kept. Also catch the eye the different colored metal filing cabinets.
The dining areas’ most rustic piece is the wooden, tarnished dining table, which is surrounded by designer, mint green chairs. Represent the industrial style the green, metal container and the metal structured wooden shelf as well. A little farther a seating area can be seen, which basis is given by the retro, patterned, carpet. These, in color matching grey sofa and black chairs, completed with the small table, yet form a whole reminiscent to the ‘60s. The retro effect is also reinforced by the pop-art picture that can be seen on the wall.
The harmony of the vintage, retro and industrial pieces conjures a special office interior. The bright colors further enhance the funny atmosphere, while the elegance is provided by the clear-out style.
