Industrial mood among classic, Scandinavian frames

Invalid Displayed Gallery

Between the worn beams and wooden columns surprisingly large marble surface pops up in this Danish building. Cool, light elegance and retro furniture characterize this typical, Scandinavian style.

The huge, open dining is framed by bright, white walls, worn wooden beams and lots of windows. In the clear-lined room on grey strip floor there is an oval, wooden dining table. Upholstered chairs with black backrests surround the table, in style passing, retro chest of drawers, respectively against shelves with compartments stand beside the walls. White, designer chandelier and a graceful floor lamp provide the decorative lighting.

In the kitchen the bohemian, wooden kitchen cabinets are covered almost everywhere with marble surface. The furnishing conjured to a tarnished way gleams darkly, completed with matt wood ornaments and metal wall lamps.

The coffee corner behind the dining is organized around a white corner sofa. In front of the low coffee table there is a modern lined armchair. To the exciting general effect also a wall painting contributes.

In the four-storey house the stairs occupy a central place. Kinetic sculptures as well were placed in the buoyant apartment unit.

In the living room that is lying on the first floor again appears the marble, but this time in clear form, as table top. The cool shade is being conjured gritty by classic, warm leather materials. Beside the cappuccino colored seating the wall’s decoration is dark.

In the living room forms a wonderful splash of color Poul Henningsen’s iconic, leather-covered piano. To the vintage piece we can take a look as well through the turquoise shutters from the terrace.

In the living room located on the next floor Crhistopher Farr’s double bed is accompanied by an idyllic dressing and bathroom. Beside the black leather sofa and coffee table also a unique glass lamp received its place.

A big, green plant separates the bathroom. Beside the cube bathtub only a minimalist decoration is visible, the atmosphere is fresh and lively.

In this traditionally noble house we can see a playful, yet typically Scandinavian interior. The industrial, worn details are harmoniously embraced by classic, modern and vintage furniture.
