The tattoo salon of fate

This week you can read about an outofthecommon tattoo saloon in our Curiosities rubric. The furnishing of the saloon was designed very deliberately, the walls were painted only by Hungarian contemporary applied –and graphic artists and their furniture have been chosen from the artKRAFT’S supply. They have realized a bright, clearout and cozy studio, where only recycled, handmade objects are surrounding the visitors and employees.

At its entrance an old “Védőszemüveg kötelező”/”Safety glasses are mandatory” blue board welcomes the visitors. In the same way is surprising the sign on the door “Húselőkészítés”/”Meat preparation” which is originating from the kitchen of a canteen. The ornaments both refer to the industrial environment, but at the same time facetiously to the spirit of the space as well.

Between the tattoo chairs has received place our metal nest of drawers that serves for the storage of small items. It serves a similar purpose the vintage medical glass cabinet as well. The walls are decorated with black framed font alphabets, before the times of the computer the graphic artists used these, and there are the excellent accessories of the black and white colored work chairs.

In the customer reception’s room the guests can sit down next to an old walnut table, here is going on the administration. Also between the red sofas and raw coated walls received a new place our wooden drawers as well, which was born from old drawers. The space is illuminated by our big favorite, the really special floor lamp the Carl Zeiss medical lamp from the 1930s. In the tattoo studio still found place our massive, green safedeposit and harmonizes with it our retro green table lamp as well.

The interior design of the tattoo saloon is selective and unique, invokes a real industrial dreamland, harmonizing with the diversity and creativity of the tattoos that are designed here! Conveys a true artKRAFT spirit and strengthens Budapest’s entrepreneur, experimental soul!
