Converted warehouse with lightsome colors

On Australia’s fabulous landscape stands this building that once was used as a warehouse. Today, due to veritable artist hands is renewed, but yet functions in its old form as a family home. Not even howsoever!

The basic shaping is characterized by simplicity: white walls and oak plank floors are framing the furnishing, in turn the huge windows let in a lot of sunlight. To this base the owners chose colorful accessories, which lend a cheerful atmosphere to the house. In the hall condignly to this joy, a colorful parrot painting welcomes with a simple, yellow IKEA small table. From here you can go upstairs, the brick wall that is visible in the flight of stairs was painted to white.

On the storey located bedroom huge, green hall lamps are hanging from the ceiling. Regarding the light, beside the lamps, the metal framed industrial windows and the wood-framed balcony door are taking care. In addition to the simple king bed vintage wood cabinets and patchwork carpet throw up the space.

In the other side of the room on a small podium an old, foot bath tub stands alone. The specialties are the wash basin that was formed from the old hand-basin and the side-mounted dingy, white display cabinet.

On the ground floor there is the kitchen and dining room. Here, too, the owners managed to decorate the space faithfully to the passion of recycling. This can be seen on the aged exhaust fan and on the recycled furniture, such as on the turn of the century wooden cabinet that was supplemented with the sink and on the chest of drawers that are modified with colorful enamel signs. The kitchen island that is full glued with colorful decal stripes and the abstract vase further strengthens the sunny atmosphere.

In the dining room, again large, metal-framed windows let in the light. The massive, wooden dining table is surrounded with modern, orange Oxford chairs and is decorated with fresh flowers.

The open terrace’s red-brick structure only here and there was whitewashed, the walls are decorated with the set of metal framed bird cages and plants. On the aloft placed paper decorations almost create a party atmosphere over the modified Acapulco chairs.
