Dreamlike guesthouse in the middle of a forest

At the border of a Belgian village, not far from the beach, next to Kokke is located Bea’s Bed and Breakfast guest house. The most unique service that the villa offers is that all the furniture can be bought. Who would not want to choose among these vintage treasures?

The neat, thatched roof house is bounded by simple, concrete and gray walls. This simplicity serves as a great background to the changing, powerful and colorful furniture collection. The living room’s middle is covered with brown carpet and white, animal leather carpet, in which center there is a reading-table transformed from wood-piece. Unique, Bauhaus chairs are surrounding the room, between them we can see as well Hans Wegner’s and Breuer Marcell’s special, metal structured armchairs. The functional elements intensity is enhanced by the simple, geometric floor lamp. On the wall clear-out wooden shelves are holding the Italian ceramics and books.

In the same bright area there is an American kitchen, which is bounded by a bar counter covered with mosaic tiles. Behind the cozy counter wooden bar stools and a raised bench as well can be seen, that was formed on a concrete plinth. The natural, mat colors like the brown and gray join well together the space’s industrial styled furnishings and provide an appropriate frame for a showier piece. It is interesting that instead the hanging lamps transformed from bulbs the red pattern of the thick, metal wire attracts the attention. Small details that make creative our home!

Concrete stairs lead up upstairs. Here in the bedroom also behind a concrete partition is hiding a bathtub. The double bed again is surrounded by chair specialties, like Housse Ecru’s 70 years Butterfly chair and the summery, rattan framed armchairs that are placed on the terrace.

Upstairs we can find as well a separated bathroom, which is made gorgeous by the colorful mosaic tiles. Who would have thought that a grey house can hide so much creativity and treasure?
