In gray colors shining apartment in a gold workshop

Johan Israelson architect in Sweden redesigned to a family home a gold workshop, framed with concrete, lean wooden floors and steel materials. The strong structure is soften by neutral colors and vintage furniture, accessories.

The internal spaces’ metallic-colored interior is surprisingly cozy and warm, saturated with sunlight. The dining room’s roller, metal structured table is covered with thick concrete slab. The massive piece is surrounded with school chairs covered with grey fur. From the ceiling are hanging lamps designed by Otto Kaszner. Huge, to grey painted safe deposit box and grey, concrete walls complement the eclectic furnishing. Beside the modern, black, glass-topped stove, you can sit down on a contrast, almost rusty bench.

Next to the dining room there is the kitchen that is separated with a glass door, where a long, concrete bar counter attracts the eye. Beside the counter three-legged bar stools are standing. The huge kitchen gives the opportunity of cooking together, which’s light also can be increased by the above-reinforced wine storage.

On the other side of the kitchen there are the office and living room. The spacious rooms are not overcrowded, we can see a minimalist styled furnishing. In the office corner beside the roller chairs only a simple desk and shelves were put. The living room’s simple sofa and metal table are freshened by green plants.

In the bedroom also the grey colors are dominating, here a clear-out double bed is in the center. The pendulous, copper fibered light bulbs and the worn, vintage chair conjure intimacy in the room.

The bathroom’s spectacular, concrete tub is complemented by patterned, stunning tile sheets. Beside these spectacular elements the basin’s concrete slab enhances the rustic effect as well. The uniform, grey colored, minimalist furnishing is thrown up only by a few dull light piece, this way has been managed to work up a tarnished, elegant style.
