Invalid Displayed Gallery

This two-storey loft is located in the building of a former shoe factory, in the industrial part of London, which is planned to be converted in a trendy, design quarter. As part of the renovation the city makes habitable, modernizes the old factories as well. The apartment that is bearing on itself the brutalism’ marks, is framed by concrete floors and concrete ceiling.

On the ground floor were housed the dining room and the two living rooms. In the kitchen raw wood cabinets, tabletop consisting of untreated wooden slats and factory chairs illuminate in the dark grey ambience. Pendant lamps consist from bulbs and vintage posters make even more striking the furnishing.

Between the bedrooms a rustic metal cabinet is standing. In the rooms the simple double bed is decorated by retro wooden furniture. A chest of drawers, a clear-out small table with red chairs or even a huge wardrobe with modern armchairs complement the spaces that are laid out in concrete frame.

In the living room a red sofa set represents a bohemian splash of color between the already common grey and brown shades. The simple lined, modern main pieces are surrounded by exciting accessories. A yellow lampshade re-used again is hanging next to the map of Europe. Beside the cabinet a wooden box that can be used as a stool as well on green shelves are resting the books.

Among the red brick walls a terrace as well was fit in, where green plants occupy the open space that otherwise can be used for grilling as well.

In the elegant, industrial apartment concrete walls and wooden furniture comprise in a uniform frame the interior. However, in the robust ambience contemporary, funny and vintage pieces as well were fit, which make really liveliness the atmosphere.
