Harsh summer house from Sweden

We present now a two-storey guest house that is located on the island of Götland.

Simplicity, clarity, hardness and inspiring raw materials characterize the furnishing.

The place is not overcrowded, concrete top plated, iron framed dining table dominates the space, around, there are iron framed chairs covered with gray fur. There are puritan lamps, the walls are indolently whitewashed, the only ornament is an old metal stove polished to metal clean.

In the kitchen as well metal and concrete bar table rhymes to the dining table, under the solid wood work surface in turn you can pack on stylish iron shelves. Due to the low headroom the ceiling was veered to white, and instead of the upper cabinets shelves were put.

The living room is located in the attic. The vertical wall was veered to dark, which is broken by a vintage advertising board. The TV received its place on an industrial styled roller, low small car. The coffee table was born from the balling of old beams, is a stylish piece.

The bedroom as well was housed upstairs, in which’s center is located a unique, wooden framed double bed. Instead of wardrobe here was placed just the clothes rack, the chest, respectively a roller folding screen. The clear-out forms are broken by the vintage desk design lamps.

The bathroom can thank its outway atmosphere to the crudity of the concrete elements. The wash-basin is a bare concrete block, with the same iron frame structure as the dining table, as a coverage we also see concrete with its left shutter-model. The whole atmosphere evokes the “half-finished” state.

The house most pleasant part is the closed terrace and the open garden. On the ground floor located covered terrace with red-brick walls, green plants and red pillows means a real curiosity in the house. In the garden there is a unique terrace formed from wood slats and stones, which fit well to the lean atmosphere.
