Renewed French detached house

Many of us desire a big detached house in Paris. However, if someone is given the opportunity as well, certainly many ideas and creativity is needed for a remodeling of an authentic, French house. In this week’s Curiosities we present the rebuilt of a three-storey, Parisian house.

The places were separated with steel-framed glass walls, this way the sunshine can flow everywhere unhindered. The modern blue and gray tones complement well the red brick walls and the old tiles. The ground floor is dominated by the dining room and living room. The most striking piece of the living room is the classical Chesterfield leather sofa, which is embraced by lighter pieces. Are funny accessories the yellow floor lamp formed from an old surveyor tripod and the simple, wooden coffee table. The retro armchairs crossed with clear material smuggle into the environment further airiness. On the other side we can a bookcase with the same color as the wall and in front of which was placed a Corbusier recliner armchair.

In front of the kitchen’s red-brick walls there is the kitchen furniture made from wood, which is surrounded by old bar stools. The other side of the kitchen is dominated by dark colors, where there are the fridge, the microwave and the other storages as well. The dining room’s simple, big wooden table is surrounded by retro, green chairs.

On the second floor we can see one of the bedrooms. Its furnishing is a simple bed, in turn in front of it there is an industrial styled desk with an art deco chair.

In the bathroom on a country styled table sit the two washbasins, the floor is coated with antique cement tab. The small wall workshop lamp and the old mirrors are making complete the furnishing.
