Black-and-white, industrial styled loft from England

Invalid Displayed Gallery

This London loft is being made special by the great, white painted brick walls, the raw wood floors and the tarnished paneling. All these flashy structural elements are complemented by effective, industrial furniture and stylish, classic pieces.

The place of the kitchenette is indicated by a counter covered with marble plate, which is illuminated by a lamp made from some bulbs. Above the wooden built-in kitchen cabinets the wall is covered with marble slabs and dark grey wooden slats. In front of the counter there are concrete seated, metal framed barstools. Behind them, in front of a white brick wall an austere, retro sofa is lying around, above it a more decorated framed mirror is hanging. In front of the huge glass doors we can see a similar styled, fur-covered rocking chair.

The dining’s center is the simple, but robust wooden dining table, which is surrounded by lighter pieces. We can see here Bertoia chairs, white vintage and Eames stools. From the glass windows with chains hinged joyful lamps are hanging down.

The living room’s black floor is offset by a white brick wall that makes a shabby impression. An antique mirror that stands in front of an elegant fireplace, decorates the room. In the center, in fron of a metal framed coffee table there are again Bertoia chairs, in turn opposite there is an antique, light grey sofa. Industrial details are decorating the space on behalf of an old bucket, box and basket.

The reading room is framed by intimate, grey shaded walls and floor mats. Beside the ceiling bookshelves we can see a classic grey armchair with a small round table. The serious pieces are thrown up by a retro small cabinet and a companionate radio.

One wall of the bedroom is covered with eclectic pieces of wood, which harmonize with the rustic bench that is placed in front of the bed. In the other bedroom also emphasized wooden slats cover one of the walls, which is freshened by a bohemian white table.

In the airy, sunlit spaces has been managed to be created a noble, clear-out interior, which firstly is due to the contrast of the simple shades and to some eye-catching, vintage furniture.
