Stirring loft with oriental style notes

Invalid Displayed Gallery

This Brooklyn loft was undergone to a youthful makeover. The original, massive frames, as the worn wooden beams and red brick walls in some places remained. However, the old walls are conjured cozy by the patterned tiles, heavy tables and oriental accessories.

In the loft’s main space the living room, kitchen and dining area share the open area. The retro kitchen corner’s steely cupboards are colored by raw wooden shelves and floral tiles. A massive dining table draws the attention to itself. Beside the dark piece there are Eames chairs covered with light animal leather.

The center of the living room is made up by a grey corner sofa. The simple piece is decorated with patterned pillows. In the impressive space beside the industrial windows, a metal-framed standing mirror and bulbs hanging from the white beams are decorations. Functions as an accessory the chest of drawers originating from the ‘60s and the similar styled, round shaped coffee table. Green plants refresh the industrial wall structure.

In the section after the entrance there is a unique, metal structured small table covered with wood top. Grey folkweave cheers up the white wall. The rattan and wooden accessories fit well to the natural materials.

The raw, wood and metal furniture pieces are complemented by oriental patterned textiles and decorations made from natural materials. Thus, the robust, defining pieces and factory structure are offset by warm atmosphere style notes.
