Streamlined industrial loft from Los Angeles

Jayne previously would not have thought that she will furnish her dream home in a former factory. This Los Angeles industrial building, nevertheless, proved to be the perfect space to form in it a creative and exciting apartment. The concrete walls and industrial windows give a sleek frame to the experimentation with styles.

The open-plan apartment’s center is the living room area. The combination of the rigid, metal pieces and the more playful accessories create here the sunny-cozy atmosphere. The George Kovacs design lamp, the CB2’s round table and the black Eames chairs give an elegant style to the space, in turn the patterned pillows and carpets complement with excitement the main furniture.

A little bit away, in the dining room we can see the harmony of similar items. The large dining table is also the product of CB2 and is surrounded by familiar Eames chairs. The black and metallic colors are thrown up by a vintage, colorful carpet, together with a converted IKEA cabinet, which is covered with a mahogany wooden board. On its top we can see eye catching, contemporary photographs.

Neither is the living room did not want to break the combination of sleek pieces and bright colors. Beside the double bed various small tables can be seen, such as the mahogany-topped, Danish design table. The dark brown, elegant furniture are being made energetic by bright, blue textile.

On the whole, has been managed to establish a bright and rustic loft, which also beside the different materials, colors and patterns are harmonizing the classical pieces and the industrial structure.
