Sunny loft in an old textile factory

At one time, a huge textile factory complex functioned in Philadelphia. Today, in the mansard of one of the parts built in the 19th century a light, bohemian apartment is located.

The big, open space is bordered by round-arched, metal-framed windows and white brick walls. Between the brown strip floor and white beams also sliding partitions may work. As one of the owners works in the city’s coolest second-hand shop, there are plenty of opportunities to pick out unique pieces.

For example, in the constantly changing furnishing that’s how could be placed a hand-shaped armchair. In front of the unusual seating on the tufted carpet a cheerful, yellow leather sofa is lying. The light, small wooden table and shelves are decorated in the café corner by green plants and paintings.

The space beyond the bookshelf is filled with the works of local artists. It is the modern blend of sculptures and exciting puppets. A minimalist see-saw hangs beside the workshop table.

To the upper story you have to climb on a ladder. In the bedroom the bed falls exactly under the windows of the attic. There are retro objects in front of the double bed. There is a black leather sofa, a small wooden table and a dark TV stand, in the form of a crate.

You can also rest/relax in a popular hanging armchair of the mid-twentieth century, which hangs in front of the separated bathroom.

In the attic is a wardrobe. Among the thousands of coat hooks lays low as well a modest, gold-plated table from the ‘60s and a vintage IKEA cabinet.

It is always new showing, vibrant and young interior in a strong building.
