French chic in a Scandinavian apartment

There is a fascinating furnishing in a Frederiksberg, civilian housing. Neither the dimensions nor the decoration are monumental or heavy. This interior is the light harmony of thousand of stories.

In the living room, the French charm of the early century is hidden in the photos shown on the gallery. The vintage atmosphere is highlighted by the different styled furniture. Beside a noble, black velvet sofa there is lying a small table covered with slightly overused wooden slats. The thin, metal legs of the glass table fit with the pattern of the carpet. The oriental colors of the puff gently highlight the darker shades and noble materials.

In the other corner of the living room, the gracefulness of the art deco récamier is counterweighted by a small table covered with firm, sharp stone slab/plate. The dissected antelope head due to its special location as well is an astounding decoration.

In the dining room more details attract the attention on themselves. The protagonist is clearly the industrial styled, worn wooden table. The also matt, in some places rusty chairs there are effective accessories. At the same time, the wall decoration made of antique mirrors is also a spectacular element.

Again, in the corner we can observe an eye-catching style mix. Oriental ornaments, metal letters and a classical upholstered armchair are located among the green plants.

Among the white tiles of the kitchen stand out the wooden structured counter, as well as the stiffened, raised chairs.

Only an intimate part can be seen from the bedroom. In front of a red brick wall, on a table with marble plate an ocelot patterned lamp and a bronze candlestick frame the Indian and African objects.

The power of the apartment lies in the matching of small details and in the stylish and powerful pieces.
