Bright and elegant house from Barcelona
Today we present a rich in detail, industrial-style apartment, which we found in Barcelona. The most characteristic features are the the huge, white walls of the interiors. The white brick walls and the white floor harmoniously combines the different styles of furniture. In the home was realized a practical and simple design.
The old house structure was kept, this way remained as well the industrial windows and the beams. The Scandinavian-style furniture in turn represent the modern times. There are only a few darker furniture, for example the grey shelves and the cupboard. In the dining room the big hall lamp is light gray, respectively the simple wooden table kept its natural color, but excluding these everything is white. The chairs with different material and style and the simple metal framed shelf transmit simplicity. The adjoining living room contains only a few fixtures, like the big sofa and the special, light blue table. Also the light blue neon tube complements well the white and simple environment, but harmonizes as well with the color of the coffee table.
In the bedroom also there are only a few patches of color, such as the mint-colored lampshade. The black laces create an interesting contrast with the white walls. Only the necessary furniture are featured in the rooms, this way bigger spaces remain intact.
The industrial heating pipe and the orange shelf are rare accessories, which define the office’s style. In the adjoining kitchen even more are playing-off to the tarnished contrast of black and white. It is black the already seen heating pipe and the simple, but elegant, movable kitchen counter as well.
Overall, the apartment is not overcrowded, thus the basic elements can predominate properly. The industrial style here is expressed in the large, bright spaces and in the accessories.
