In a Danish civilian house that was built in the 1920s, the most part of the current kitchen was occupied by garages. However, thanks to creative ideas and clever implementing today this space is the center of the home and sometimes also functions as the workshop of various workshops.

Thus, at the below level there is an open space shaped for a dining, kitchen and co-creation. The yellow, built-in kitchen cabinets and shelves that evoke the retro atmosphere are accompanied by a freezer that fits there. On the dining area the modern lined dining table is complemented by office armchairs. The big, hanging hall lamp accentuates the striking style of the section/area.

On the café part a Bolia turquoise sofa draws the attention to itself.

In front of the tinkering corner’s wall mounted tools there is a work table. Underneath, on metal shelves old chests hide the further needed ingredients. Industrial lamps provide the adequate lighting. On a three-legged wooden stool it is possible to sit down and start the work. The workshop’s atmosphere is made complete by old posters and signboard boards.

Stepping out from the dining room we can enter into an open garden area. In the shaded arbor it is possible to sit down at a connected table and on benches. This is the only worn, industrial piece of furniture that is just enough furnishing among the green plants and brick walls.

The floor can be reached through a flight of stairs decorated with mirrors and pictures. The vintage decorations are continuing on the first floor as well. In the bedrooms framed with white strip floor and white walls a turquoise, rust-colored, green or grey piece represents an exciting splash of color.

In the children’s bedroom seen turquoise chair and similar shaded chest of drawers easily fit to the flamingo’s poster and toys bohemian charm.

In the other bedroom the residents formed a more serious furnishing. Beside the turquoise accordion lamp low-key, pastel shaded accessories are surrounding the double bed.

Overall, in the old family house has been managed to design an open and clear-out interior. The below part’s modifications resulted an open and inspiring space, where also the industrial and retro pieces emphasize stylishly the specialty of the place.
