Industrial styled loft with romantic notes

In Milan really are not uncommon the idyllic homes. However, this week we present such one that was built in the 1600s and in olden times functioned as a typographic workshop. Recently, thanks to a creative, designer duo the old spaces received a bohemian, industrial restructuring.

In the spacious, central part some furniture and accessories were housed. The two simpler sofas are complemented by an iron framed small table and a richly decorated marble-topped piece. A graceful floor lamp and wall decorations decorate the monster space. On the original, dark tile an orange Giancarlo Mattioli for Artemide lamp thrown up the atmosphere.

From the adjoining place industrial windows are separating the living room. To the “glass box” reminiscent space distribution is also strengthened by the empty, exposed details.

On the other side of the living room flimsy curtains separate the kitchen corner. The worktops of the simple, but striking kitchen counter were made with Moroccan-inspired technique, with the mixing of cement and rosin. The sultry, oriental atmosphere is also highlighted by a picture frame made from dry roots.

With the silver colored accordion lamp that can be seen above the kitchen counter are harmonizing the dining room’s Emeco Navy chairs. The white-painted large table is a vintage invention.

The only private place is the bedroom that is occupied among factorial frames, where the bathroom as well is located. On the rattling strip floors was housed a double bed, worn carped and small chair, respectively a remarkable claw-footed bathtub.

Among the tarnished structure the contrast of the black and white exudes a languid elegance. The minimalist, clear-out furnishing further enhance the harmonious mixing of the romantic luxury and industrial style.
