Lodgings in a Brooklyn church

This American church built in 1882 carries on itself Gothic marks, which further back worked as a school as well. Nowadays, gives place to elegant and clear-out/simple lofts, from which some can be rented as well.

Fresh, mint green walls and art deco leaden windows welcome the residents after the entrance.

The four apartments were shaped in such way to keep the arches, domes and original facades. Into the interior, two-storey apartments gorgeous, herring-bone windows let the sunlight in. Strip floor and a dome decorated with rich ornaments embrace the space.

In the lower, longish space was placed the American kitchen living room. The kitchen corner is being made strong by a rolling, metal framed kitchen counter and matching bar stools.

Most of the living room is occupied by an air, simple corner sofa. Against the light bookcase a vintage, wood-framed mirror leans upon the wall. The minimalist furnishing does not distract the attention from the stunning structure.

In the upstairs, intimate bedroom also dominates the dome. White walls and only the most necessary objects were placed in the room.

In another sub-lease in front of the window, a massive, gray couch spreads surrounded by facile leather armchairs. There is a coffee table with marble slab on the hide carpet. Here was born a powerful, more masculine furnishing.

In the exquisite building a characteristic, but restrained interior gently allows to the interior structure to prevail.
